Just off Chesterman Beach, accessible at low tide, Frank Island is a place for exploring Tofino's intertidal zones. Summer mornings fog starts to disappear by midafternoon. It is like second daybreak, making way for magical glowing light followed by golden sunsets.
Here, the waves on the other side of the rocks throw up a fine mist diffusing and refracting the sunlight. A nimbus of golden light bathes the island.

Keep the painting dust free by wiping gently with a lightly damp, lint-free cloth as needed.
