This sea stack at Woods Nose near Port Renfrew, BC, does a Viennese Waltz in her flowing skirts of green. She is spotlit by the late morning sun.
The performance lasts only briefly.
Then the tide comes in and
the stage is gone.
I painted “Ephemeral Access” after admiring from the wings, peeking out of the shadows between louvred walls of basalt.
