Inspired by the hyperrealistic style of a painting in Janevca, I painted this close up of a Trillium flower at its zenith, dusted in pollen, in a forest near Port Renfrew, BC, Canada.
This painting is one in a series that pays homage to the endemic plants of the Pacific Northwest.
