Golden Hour
Golden Hour
The Golden Hour, in this case, is the time right before sunset, when the light is soft, atmospheric, and warm.
In my life, it also means the rare moment when there is nothing pulling at me, allowing me to be fully present.
Here at the Pacheedaht Beach near Port Renfrew, BC, the Golden Hour happened in both senses, and this lovely Sea Pea had me so captivated, I painted it twice, to really study its magic.
