My dearest friends love to gather yearly and give thanks for each other and where we all get to live and play. Even better if it's in the water.
Chesterman Beach at sunset is timeless, yet it is never the same place twice. I painted this to capture that miraculous feeling of being both tiny and insignificant and of being uniquely part of something vast and infinite.
It reminds me that the waves keep coming. It's how I meet them that makes all the difference.
