Wild Strawberry
Wild Strawberry
These tiny plants cover the ground just back from the dunes on the shores of the Pacheedaht Beach near Port Renfrew, BC. Each flower is about the size of a quarter or even smaller. In the golden light of the springtime sunset, the white flowers reflect the soft blue-violet of the darkening sky, and are lit with a translucent yellow glow from the setting sun that was echoed by the glow of the mist in the air.
